All about embracing calculated Happy Accidents in the workflow! I am sharing one of my simple R&D nodes I regularly use when creating Substances.
This node has all of the Noises and Grunges from Substance in one node.
This enables quick variations and experimentation by clicking on the input selection and choosing noises using the arrow keys, seeing changes propagate in real time as you scroll.
I typically use this during material creation to find the right noise type for a specific effect, and after material creation to experiment and find interesting variations that your graph can output.
Hope you all find this useful and stumble into more Happy Accidents.
*If you have any requests to make this node more useful let me know in a PM*
"A library of all the atomic noises and grunges with exposed scale. This node enables quick R&D by navigating different noises and their results in procedural graphs."
Recommended Operation: Click on input selection and use arrow keys to navigate noise selection.
